Meet Tyler Skelton: NAPAHE's Membership Experience Manager

Dear NAPAHE Members,

I’m excited to share that NAPAHE has welcomed a new staff member to our team: Tyler Skelton, who joins us as our inaugural Membership Experience Manager. Tyler brings over a decade of experience in higher education, associations, and professional development, with a strong background in member engagement, strategic partnerships, and program delivery. His addition to our team marks a strategic investment in enhancing the experience of our members and strengthening the services we provide.

Tyler will work closely with me, as well as our Board of Directors and various committee volunteers, to serve as the primary point of contact for our members, manage our online communities, support programming and events, and contribute to member engagement and satisfaction. We’re thrilled to have him on board and look forward to the energy and expertise he brings to NAPAHE.

Meet Tyler Skelton

A message from NAPAHE's new Membership Experience Manager

Hello NAPAHE Members! I’m excited to step into the role of Member Engagement Manager with NAPAHE. Over the past 12+ years, I’ve worked in higher education and professional development, focusing on how to bring people together, build meaningful connections, and create programs that really serve members.      

My background includes everything from launching student ambassador programs to organizing national webinars and conferences, all with the goal of making membership more valuable and engaging. I also spent nearly five years at a global association that serves over 140,000 members. In my role, I supported students, faculty, and professionals in finding ways to network and grow in their careers.

What I enjoy most is helping people feel connected to a community and seeing the impact those connections can make. I’m looking forward to getting to know the NAPAHE community and finding new ways to support and strengthen engagement across the organization.
